Works allright for me. I'm in a Jeep Cheroke (94), and it all depends on the music. If I'm playing, say some quiet jazz it works fun. But when I put in some metal it has a buzz in the background of certain parts of the song when it gets too loud. My friend has the same thing for his suburban and his is crystal clear.

Do NOT Recommend

This is not worth the money at all. Not only is the sound quality poor, it is really a pain to configure it in your car. I have a VW Golf, and there is no adequate place to put it if you do not want it in the way of your stickshift. I have tried it in friend's vehicles, and had the same poor result of not finding a place to mount it. Once again, even if it does fit your car THE SOUND QUALITY IS HORRIBLE, no matter what station I try, no matter where I happen to be driving...

Do NOT buy this product

Do not buy this. Not only will it ruin the dash of your car installing it, it will RUIN your ipod. It has not only erased all the songs off my ipod, now it has broken it. The scan disc icon keeps showing up and Apple just replaced it and it is locked upgain. Also, apple will not refund your money and the DLO people won't refund your money either. By the time you figured out it's not your ipod it's THEIR product, you're screwed. Buy ANYTHING but this!!!

Worked For Me...

I'm using DLO TransPod in a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. It works very well for me. I've tried other FM modulators and this has been the best option. Clear sound, a large number of available broadcast frequency choices, several included mounting options and easy set-up made this worthy of the $100 price. I do agree with the other review in that it is a little bulky. However, It's definately worth a try. If it doesn't work, take it back.

Very Happy with this product

After hearing and reading many different reviews on this product I was a little leary on buying it. Since my Civic only has a CD player and radio I had to get something to use my iPod in. I finally broke down and bought it assuming I could return the product if I wasn't happy with it. To my surprise the sound quality was mush better that I ever anticipated. CONS-- You lose some volume from the music but overall I would say a very good product.
