Piece of crap

I bought this for my Mini Cooper because
it was a lesser expensive alternative to
the BMW and Dice products.
BIG MISTAKE!
The sound quality is painfully bad.
Depending on the recording level of the
song, the distortion can be unbearable
at times. Adjusting the EQ (both on the
head unit and the iPod) helps a little
bit, but not enough.
Also, there have been occasions where
the unit will "freeze-up" forcing me
to reach under the dash and unplug the
wires and reconnect them to "reset"
it.

Does the job

This is a solid, if not spectacular, FM
transmitter. It seems to be able to
overpower FM stations overcrowding the
airwaves. I have successfully used it
throughout Michigan's entire lower
peninsula and rarely need to change
frequencies. I like the fact that it is
powered by the car and recharges the
iPod, but this limits it to the car. I
alos like the REALLY low profile outlet
adapter. It is small enough that the
cup holders on my dash are uneffected by
using it.

I recently installed the neo ion sp for
my 2004 Mazda 3 that I purchased from
mp3yourcar.com. (I installed it no more
than 10 minutes ago!) I just have to say
that the customer service was amazing.
The connection was recieved only 3 days
after order and I used priority mail!
The install was simple and actually only
took 15 minutes to complete. I can't
stress enough how great the neo ion
sounds in my car and I HIGHLY recommend
this product to anyone who owns an ipod
and loves music. Nice work!

I went to CarToys, BestBuy, SoundTrack
and none of them had a compatible
adaptor for Honda Accord LX 2003.
This adaptor works just fine with the
factory radio and it sounds better than
the factory CD player. This is a great
product.

Just wanted say thanks for a great
product. (Neo iOn for Honda Pilot 2004)
I have suffered for 6 months with a low
sound quality fm transmitter. After some
research, I decided on the NeoIon. Now,
my knowledge of car repair and
maintenance is limited to fueling and
scheduling oil changes. However, I
installed the unit myself after watching
the video and downloading the manual.
The sound quality is perfect - no more
cranking up the volume and bass. All
the controls work as advertised. Thank
you!
